People used to say, “The hand that rocks（摇） the cradle （摇篮） rules the world ”and “Behind every successful man there’s a woman．”

    The women’s liberation movement was started by monen. who don’t want to stand behind successful men. They want to stand （ 5 ）men, with the same chance for success, The movement is quite new, and many American wonmen do not agree with its purpose. But it’s already made several changes in women’s lives -and in men’s lives, too.
